what was suppose to be a humble small bonito or a few sargos dive turned out to be an amazing cold janruary phenonemal... i reached for a reef drop where some spearo friends of mine have been saying they saw some big fish, as i was going down to inspect the big crack on the side of the wall, the 7kg grouper came out to say hello, i shot an insinctive shot and stunned her, on my way up i saw a nice school of dentexes eating the small crums that came out of the catch, in less than 2 minutes i had my beast on the marker-buoy-fish-keep, my Omer 106 loaded and my lungs full of 5.5 litres of compressed air, i went down to where i presumed would be the perfect place for a stealth (aspetto) i waited and suddenly my dentex friend came to say hello, he ended tied next to his brown friend, the grouper was shot at 23 meters and the dentex at 30 meters.
