tales(05-10-07)

Today friday 05 october 2007 i decided to change my trainning seshion and try a cliff-fase, so i drove to the west of malta and went near wied znuber at hal far and started finning towards ghar hasan, the water was deep blue and no fish were to be seen, so i done a few dozen apneas starting at 25 meters and increasing one or 2 meters with each decend, by noon i was easily reaching the 34 meter mark, as i was descending, a huge rock was seen out in the deep so i decided to fin at a 45 degree angle towards it, guarding the only hole at the bottom left side of this boulder was my 5,5kg friend who darted in, and i done an instant shot with my 122 with a 170m shaft and double 16mm bands, from around 5 meters away, i hit it badly and was lucky i surfaced it, cause on the way up it was like a horse trying to pull a bus... i then turned back to drive home where my neighbour photographer happned to be at home, as i was happy with my only shot of the day... roll on comeptition :-)
